German general terms and conditions apply.

§1 German Classes with Takt

§1.1 Contract with Takt

Registration via our registration form does not constitute a legally binding declaration of contract. The teaching contract is only concluded after the individual communication by receiving the invoice via email.

§1.2 Registration fee

There is a one-time registration fee of 20€.

§1.3 Amendment or cancellation by Language School

Takt will advise you of any change in date, duration, or cancellation no later than two days prior to start of the course. If you disagree with any of the amendments made to the course, you shall be provided a full refund. The tutor has the right to arrange for alternative dates in consultation with the participants.

§1.4 Terms of payment

The course and the one-time registration fee must be paid in full in advance by bank transfer.

We do not accept any payments made by Western Union. Please inform yourself about any incurring bank charges for foreign transactions. Takt will not bear any of these costs.

§2 Your request for amendment or cancellation

§2.1 Cancellation

You can cancel your course up to 14 days before the start of the course, via email. We will then refund 80% of your course fees. After that, any form of cancellation, postponement or refund is excluded.

Takt does not cover transfer fees.

§2.2 Expiry of the 14 days

If you want to cancel after the deadline, if you do not attend the course or if you need to leave the course during the term of the course, we will not refund any fees.

§2.3 Right of withdrawal (after school program start)

Takt does not offer a “basic 14-day right of withdrawal” for the entire school program. We are referring to exceptional cases in accordance with the German Civil Code (BGB). The entire school program is subject to limited places for a fixed period. In this non-classic case, a revocation is unreasonable for the provider. (LG Bielefeld, judgment of 05.06.2012, Az .: 15 O 49/12)

§2.4 Goodwill offers

Goodwill offers are limited to the month mentioned and in exceptional cases are valid for a maximum of 6 months after the first registration. If prices have changed in the meantime, the goodwill offers will also be adjusted accordingly.

Goodwill offers are not transferable.

§2.5 Private and closed group lessons

You can postpone/change a single date/class within your scheduled individual lessons, up to 24 hours before the agreed date on weekdays (Mon-Fri until 6pm). For individual lessons on Monday, the deadline is usually the Friday before. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full course fee.

You can cancel the entire booking up to 14 days before the first agreed date and receive a refund of 80% of the course fees.

§3 Legal age

If you are younger than 18, your legal representative is considered as trading partner and hence will need to sign the registration contract on your behalf as well as provide us with the contact details.

Legal guardians are liable for minors!

§4 Course confirmation

A free course confirmation is issued to every participant after completion of the classes upon on request.

§5 National holidays

There are no lessons on German national and religious holidays.

§6 Books

Course books are not included in the course fee.
